| Founded in 1965, Qingdao Museum is an integrated local museum of history and arts. In 2001, the new Qingdao Museum was officially opened to the public. The museum has a collection of more than 30 categories and 160,000 pieces of historical artifacts, including calligraphy and paintings, pottery, porcelain and jade wares and ancient coins. Many of them are rare treasures in the world. Qingdao Museum has become a cultural landmark and a marvelous cultural spot in Qingdao. |
