Qingdao robots at Shanghai Robot Expo

Qingdao International Robot Industrial Park participated for the first time in a large scale event, at the 2013 China International Robot Exposition.

Qingdao International Robot Industrial Park, along with five companies and research institutes, participated for the first time in a large scale event, at the 2013 China International Robot Exposition.

Hosted by China Federation of Machinery Industry and China Robot Industry Alliance, the exposition was held from July 1 to July 5, at the Shanghai New International Expo Center.

The Park attracted more than 150 potential partners, who had the opportunity to consult each other and talk business.

Shang Liqun, vice director from the committee of Qingdao High-tech Industrial Development Zone, gave an introduction on the “Promotion Conference for China Robot Industry”

“By bringing in companies, investment and mastering key technologies, we will make it a world renowned industrial park and model base for the country’s new industrialization, ” said Shang.

With this exposition, the park had an exchange of ideas with some famous local and foreign robot enterprises.

As the first batch of state-level high-tech zones approved by the State Council, the Qingdao high-tech zone got approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology, in 2006, to expand further in the north of the Jiaozhou Bay.
