Qingdao was once again named one of Ctrip’s top 3 summer resorts, as chosen by netizens, according to the recently released top ten list. The nine other summer resorts were Sanya, Lijiang, Dalian, Lushan, Bashang in Hebei Province, Inner Mongolia, Jiuzhaigou, Guiyang and the Changbai Mountains.

Insiders from Ctrip said places close to the coast or surrounded by water attract the most attention from families and couples. The number of tourists who have visited Qingdao this summer is double the number who visited during the same period last year.
