The Qingdao-Wuhan Information Industry Summit Forum kicked off at the Qingdao International Convention and Exhibition Center on August 16.
Some 120 IT elites attending the summit discussed the successful model of the Optical Valley in Wuhan City, Hubei Province, and its referential significance for Qingdao’s development.
They explored the innovation spaces in Qingdao’s industrial upgrading process and negotiated a joint development of the information industry across both cities.
Being China’s biggest photoelectron information industry base, Optical Valley has formed five large-scale high-tech industrial clusters since its establishment in 1988. Under its support, the Qingdao Optical Valley Software Park has attracted tens of renowned enterprises with the incorporation capacity of 500 high-tech enterprises.
