Li Yundi's nationwide tour, "Piano Dream of the Chinese," successfully kicked off in Qingdao Grand Theater on the evening of October 26.

On the day of the show, the CEO of Global Classical Music traveled thousands of miles from England to listen to Li Yundi's concert and accepted a television interview during which he expressed his sincere gratitude for Li's invitation, his admiration for Li's enormous musical talent and his recognition and appreciation for Li's contributions to classical music.

Starting from August this year, Li Yundi's national tour concert, "Piano Dream of the Chinese," will tour 30 cities across China, triggering massive runs for tickets since day one of ticket sales. To meet the demands of more and more eager fans, the staff of the Theater added more than 100 additional seats to the second floor and created a 360-degree view effect – a first for the Grand Theater. During the concert, Li played "Nocturne," "Yunnan Ballad," "Moonlight" and several other pieces of both Chinese and foreign piano music.
