Qingdao tourists by cruise to reach 160,000 in 2015

According to the Shandong Tourist Administration, the Qingdao Municipal Government officially announced a development plan for its cruise industry. In 2015, the Qingdao entry-exit cruise will reach 80 ship-in-times, and the entry-exit tourist by cruise number will reach 160,000.

Qingdao aimed to construct the world’s leading international passenger transportation center and a comprehensive “International Cruise City,” in order to rank among “China’s Key International Cruise City” in 2015. It also aimed to rank among the “Northeast Asia Regional Cruise Home Port” in 2020, and become a major output market for cruise passengers and the tourist port of entry.
