Mount Lao, or Laoshan, is located near the East China Sea in Qingdao City, Shandong Province. Dubbed one of the "cradles of Taoism," it is the highest coastal mountain in China, with the highest peak (Jufeng) reaching 1,132.7 meters. Jufeng Xuzhao, literally meaning “rising sun in the morning on the highest peak,” is one of Mount Lao’s most beautiful scenes.
