The 24th annual Qingdao International Beer Festival will kick off in the Laoshan District of Qingdao City on Aug 16, 2014, according to a press conference hosted by the Qingdao Municipal Government.

Running from Aug 16 to 31, 2014, this festival will continue to build upon the previous theme of 'Joy across the city and passion for all.'

The main venue of the festival, the Beer Castle at Century Plaza in the Laoshan District, is over 200,000 square meters in area. The festival venue will be divided into four zones: Qingdao beer passion plaza, world beer brand plaza, beer recreational plaza and carnival amusement park.

Now in its 24th year, the festival has become well-known and enjoys both a national and international reputation.
