Zhanqiao Pier in Qingdao
China.org.cn, August 15, 2014 Print E-mail

Built in 1891, Zhanqiao Pier is 400 meters long, and is the symbol of Qingdao,Shandong Province. At the southern end of the pier stands the Huilan Pavilion, which is the logo of China's most famous beer, Tsingtao Beer. The pavilion was built in 1931 and now houses a small aquarium. Here one can enjoy the scene of roaring waves and exotic rocks. To the north of the bridge lies Zhanqiao Bridge Park, where the combination of colorful flowers, green pines and well-kept lawns presents a charming view. [sohu.com]
