The 1st Qingdao International Art Biennale is being held in Qingdao, coastal city of Shandong province, from September 22 to November 22. More than 500 artworks from 42 countries around the world are presented during the show. The art biennale consists of five exhibitions featuring international art, local art, Chinese painting and calligraphy, Dunhuang art and a French painting show. [China.org.cn]
