The 23rd Qingdao International Beach Festival opens on Oct. 12 at Qingdao No.1 Bathing Beach, with over 10 theme events to be carried out. There are martial arts performance, singing and dancing performances, judo, taekwondo at the opening ceremony, as well as a children's artwork competition on the beach.

This year, the theme of the wedding ceremony on the beach is "heart of the dedicators", and 26 ordinary couples hold their wedding ceremony there. Philanthropic celebrity couples, foreign experts also attend the ceremony to reminisce about their wedding vows.

With the efforts made by both government and beach culture lovers, Qingdao has successfully hosted 23 beach festivals. It enriches people's lives and brings joy to citizens in Qingdao.

The Qingdao International Beach Festival opens from Oct. 12 to Oct. 16. About 13 theme events are to be carried out during this time, including invitational beach volleyball tournament, wedding ceremony on the beach, invitational shuttlecock tournament, etc.
