On Feb. 2, press conference of QiluFolk Arts Festival was formally held in China Commune•Creative Industry Park of Qilu Culture.

This art festival, hosted by China Commune•Creative Industry Park of Qilu Culture, focuses on inheritance and reproduction of traditional art. The art festival will be opened on Feb. 6 and Wuji Ensemble from Hong Kong will perform that evening. NiuHubing, chairman of Shandong Old Village Group said that it is an honor to invite Wuji Ensemble to the ceremony of the festival. The aim of holding QiluFolk Arts Festival is to promote Chinese traditional culture, especially Qilu culture. Creative Industry Park of Qilu Culture will serve as the carrier of spreading excellent traditional culture.

The festival will last for a month from Feb. 6 to May 8. The festival will be divided into 6 parts including exhibition of traditional paper-cut and modernization of paper-cut art, exhibition of traditional clay sculpture, pottery and china, etc. During the festival, foreign guests are invited to do paper-cut and print New Year paintings, so that the tradition can truly enter the modern life and inject new vigor.
