Qingdao, a coastal city of Shandong province, showcased six new cultural products at the 11th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair during May 14-18.

The six products from Hisense, Qingdao Publishing Group and Langye Ceramic Institute, included online products, electronics, and handicrafts, embodying Qingdao's strengths in cultural and creative industries.

At the fair, Qingdao introduced 43 projects, totaling 78.24 billion yuan (US$12.62 billion) of investment.

Currently, Qingdao has totally 260 projects in the cultural and creative industries, with 206.35 billion yuan of investment. Among them, there are 44 projects of which each involves an investment over 1 billion yuan.
