Qingdao-based Haier Co., Tsingtao Brewery and Hisense Electronic Co, have entered the ranks of Fortune China 500 companies this year, along with 17 other companies from Shandong province.

According to the new list for the year 2015 announced on July 8, Haier, a leading electric appliance maker, was ranked 65th position in the list, with 88.78 billion yuan revenue (US$ 14.29 million). Tsingtao Brewery Co and Hisense Electric Co were ranked 186th and 188th respectively.

The list, based on companies' gross revenue and profits, ranked other 17 Shandong companies including Weichai Power, Yanzhou Coal Mining Co., Ltd and Shandong Iron and Steel Group Co, Ltd.
