China's first micro metal 3-D printer was unveiled during the Metal 3-D Printing Industrial Appliance Forum, recently held in West Coast New Area of Qingdao, Shandong province. [weibo.com] 


China's first micro metal 3-D printer was unveiled during the Metal 3-D Printing Industrial Appliance Forum, recently held in West Coast New Area of Qingdao, Shandong province.

The 3-D printer is roughly the size of a washing machine and is able to print with a high-degree of accuracy and density.

The forum was hosted by Qingdao Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology, regulatory commission of Qingdao Sino-German Ecopark and 3dfocus.com.cn, a service platform for 3-D printing in China.

More than 200 representatives from government bodies and companies in the industry was attracted to discuss opportunities as well as challenges for 3-D printing industrial appliance.
