Qingdao high-tech zone invites investment in Beijing

The Qingdao National High-tech Zone – Hongdao Economic Zone – holds a promotion meeting to collectively introduce economic and trade merchant inviting projects in Beijing on March 21, 2016. [Xinhua] 

The Qingdao National High-tech Zone – Hongdao Economic Zone – holds a promotion meeting to collectively introduce economic and trade merchant inviting projects in Beijing on March 21, 2016.

36 new projects were signed at the meeting in the fields of science and technology, finance, soft ware, information, smart manufacture. With the total investment of 12.7 billion yuan (US$1.95 billion), these projects will become the major engine for the regional development.

A new 3D printing park with a total investment of 500 million yuan will be launched in the high-tech zone. The park will feature research and development base, educational and training base, e-commercial base and incubating base.

A 3-billion-yuan fund will be established to provide assistance for new industries such as solar energy power generating, new clean energy, sea water desalinization and sewage treatment.

Over 300 officials and representatives from enterprises, institutions and chamber of commerce attend the event.
