Qingdao, a coastal city of east China's Shandong province, formulated recently implementation plan for building comprehensive cross-border e-commerce trial zone.
According to the plan, the city will promote the fusion of business on the internet and real economy, and take it as a breakthrough point to build major regional e-commerce service center in China.
The city will determine self position, and extend distinctive advantage and characteristics, to serve China's Belt and Road Initiatives and strategy of Free Trade Zones, construct cross-border e-commerce net for regions and countries along the Belt and Road, build ‘online Silk Road' and local cooperative cross-border e-commerce development institution, and lead the way in providing cross-border e-commerce platform through efficient use of free trade agreement system.
