The Qingdao Big Data Statistic Research Center was co-founded recently by the municipal bureau of statistics with Qingdao University.

The center's principal orientation is directed to construction of credit system, economic and financial data mining, macro-economic research, healthcare data management, investment management, and social management.

The center will provide the government big data analysis report to support the formulation and implementation of policy. Moreover, it will offer various enterprises consulting and forecasting service based on big data statistics and analysis.

In addition, an academic committee composed of experts in the field of statistics, is planned to be set up in the center as well as a big data research institution of regional economy and society, financial research institution and healthcare big data research institution.
