2016 Aoshan Euro-Asia Technology Forum and 3rd Annual Conference for the Association of Sino-Russian Technical Universities (ASRTU) kicked off in Qingdao's Blue Silicon Valley on May 24.
The four-day event attracted presidents from 50 universities associated with ASRTU, government leaders and more than 200 representatives from well-known Chinese venture capital enterprises.
The "Aoshan Euro-China technology forum declaration" was released at a conference during the forum.
This forum was jointly organized by ASRTU and the Qingdao municipal government. It is aimed at enhancing technological exchanges and cooperation between China and Russia to speed up the transformation of the science and technology achievements.
"The forum can help Qingdao to highlight its marine technology advantages and infuse technological vitality into the innovative Blue Silicon Valley," said Li Qun, the Party chief of Qingdao. He added that Qingdao will work together with ASRTU to promote the forum and enhance the integration and development of the Euro-Asia economy.
