The founding conference of the Cruise Committee of World Tourism Cities Federation and the 4th China International Cruise Summit kicked off in Qingdao on May 16, 2016.

The conference was sponsored by the World Tourism Cities Federation and China Ports and Harbors Association.

The Cruise Committee of WTCF, the first world-class cruise association of China, was founded and the Secretariat was set in Qingdao.

As a new market of cruise tourism, Chinese market maintains rapid growth. Qingdao, as an important port city in north China and top tourism city in China, has natural advantages in developing cruise economy.

The theme of the summit is 'Cooperation in tourism promotes the development of cruise industry.' Almost 600 representatives from 30 countries and regions attended the conference.
