Cooperation between Qingdao port and Poland's largest port unfolds

The port of Qingdao recently signed a memorandum of understanding with Gdansk, Poland's largest port, to jointly promote marine transport business development between the two logistic hubs.

According to the memorandum, Gdansk will cooperate with Qingdao in various marine affairs, ranging from the development and operation of harbors, modern logistics, to intelligent harbor development and training.

As one of the largest seaports on the Baltic Sea, the port of Gdansk is located on the southern coast of Gdansk Bay in the city of Gdansk.

In 2015, the total handling capacity for the port of Gdansk reached 35.91 million tons, and container handling capacity 1.09 million TEU.
