Civil Society 20 China 2016 (C20) recently kicked off in Qingdao, a coastal city of east China's Shandong province. Chinese President Xi Jinping sent a message of congratulations to the event. Themed with "Poverty Eradication, Green Development and Innovation," the event is co-hosted by China NGO Network for International Exchanges and the United Nations Association of China, with participants from more than 180 NGOs in over 50 countries and regions.
