New airport in Qingdao under construction

Photo shows the Jiaodong International Airport under construction in Qingdao, a coastal city of east China's Shandong province. The skeleton of the new terminal consists mainly of about 190 steel columns with length ranging from 14.55 meters to 38 meters. Work on the terminal and air traffic control facilities began in 2015. The airport is scheduled to be completed in 2019. [China.org.cn] |
