Over 10,000 autos imported through Qingdao's port in H1

In the first half of this year, 10,218 whole vehicle products have been imported through the port of Qingdao, east China's Shandong province, among which 9,418 are parallel imports. The value of imported autos hit US$460 million, up 153 percent over the corresponding period last year. Since the port of Qingdao formally closed customs and operated on the July 8, 2013, the efficiency of customs passage has been continuously increased. The international auto city at the bonded area attracts over 50 large enterprises dealing with auto import business. An industrial chain has formed in the port of Qingdao covering international trade, warehousing, logistics, overland transport, exhibition and trade, finance, insurance, modification, testing and aftermarket service. |
