The National Youth Campus Football Summer Camp for high school students was held in the German Football Asian Base of the Sino-German Eco-park in Qingdao from August 20 to 29 with nearly 400 excellent players from 23 provinces and municipalities taking part in this event.

It is learned that it was the first time for the eco-park to host this summer camp. During the period, some regular activities were carried out such as technical tests, education on traditional Chinese culture, training by famous players, football competitions and selection of the dream team.

The Qingdao Summit Forum for High-level Development of the Reform Experiment Zone for Youth Campus Football was held during the event. Besides, the German Football Asian Base became Shandong’s first training base of coaches for national youth campus footballers on the occasion by receiving a plaque awarded for the purpose.
