More than 2,000 carvings from China and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) countries debuted at an exhibition that promotes boundaryless art and original craftsmanship, as part of the East Asia Marine Cooperation Platform Huangdao Forum in Qingdao, Shandong, Sept 7 and 8.
The 2,000-square-meter exhibition hall was decorated in Chinese style, with black and white being the dominant color elements. Exhibits included carving works made of stone, shell, jade, bamboo, wood and nut, as well as inkslabs and Yixing clay products.
