Haier gathers global experts at forum on creative management

Haier Group and London-based Management Lab hosted the first International Rendanheyi Model Forum on Sept 20-21 to mark the innovative management theory’s 12th anniversary. Haier’s CEO Zhang Ruimin said that rendanheyi model is likely to be the business model for the internet of things era, for it integrates employees’ creativity with customers’ personal needs and therefore suits the development of the social economy based on the IoT industry’s evolvement. Zhang came up with the concept in September 2005. Gary Hamel, from the Management Lab, London Business School, Danner Zohar, founder of quantum management theory, and Christian Busch, researcher from the London School of Economics and Political Science, shared their observations on Haier’s transformation efforts in recent years and their studies on various subjects. The Management Lab hosted a thematic summit to talk about management approaches that adapts to the internet era. |
