In the hot springs district of Baodi, on the outskirts of Beijing and Tianjin, a luxurious new hot springs conference resort has just opened.
The complex resembles an ancient fairytale palace, featuring minarets, archways, waterways, lush gardens, courtyards and natural geothermal hot springs provides a truly unique oasis for a family getaway.
The conference resort is part of a mixed-used development, which includes 8,000 residential villas, a 27-hole golf course designed by world renowned golfer Vijay Singh, and a host of recreational and entertainment facilities for all ages.
The resort allows guests to enjoy a game of golf, tennis, badminton, squash, billiards or table tennis. You can even gather friends for a game of bowling in our eight-lane bowling alleys.
The resort offers many Western and Chinese massage treatments. Traditional Chinese medicine techniques, such as Gua Sha, Huo Guan, Tui Na and Chinese acupressure, as well as Swedish massage are all available.
After a day of rigorous activities, take a dip in the indoor pool and swim under a glass skylight roof, or enjoy the countryside and go for a hike around the resort's tree-lined avenues.
For the ultimate fitness experience, the gym is equipped with Technogym gym equipment, including bench press, shoulder press, leg curl and stepping machine.
Dining options include the Fountain Lounge, the Garden Chinese restaurant and the Glass House, a 310-seat international buffet restaurant with 7 showcase kitchens.
The live-cooking stations are the main feature of the Glass House, a favorite meeting spot for weekenders. The restaurant is open daily for breakfast and for dinner on weekends. Here, diners have a choice of Chinese and international dishes, including more than 200 tasty items at any given time. The dessert section is not to be missed!
Tastefully designed, the Garden Chinese restaurant serves Cantonese cuisine and provides an exclusive dining experience in 13 uniquely decorated private dining rooms that resemble a Beijing "hutong".
The hotel will have a total of 793 rooms when completed. Most of the well-appointed guestrooms and suites feature a private balcony, an LCD flat-screen plasma television, an in-room safe, a work desk with access to high-speed broadband Internet and WiFi, and in-room tea and coffee making facilities. Regency Club rooms measuring 60 square metres feature natural hot spring water in outdoor hot tubs.
