Song rode a wave of success, into a couple more hit dramas, including "Romance in the Grand Hotel", "All In" and "Full House".
In 2007, Song returned from a two-year hiatus to act in the movie version of Hwang Jin-i. The movie was based on the true story of a 16th century Kisaeng, or prostitute. The role won her first nomination as "Best Actress" at South Korea's prestigious Blue Dragon Awards.
Now Song Hye Kyo begins edging into the Chinese entertainment world. The audience awaits.
