The world's biggest air show has opened in the UK with the debut of a new single-seater, radar-evading fighter aircraft.
Stealing Monday's show was Lockheed Martin Corporation's F-22 "Raptor" fighter, which is widely considered the world's most advanced fighter. The 15-minute display of dips, dives and pirouettes was a highlight of the opening day. Unlike most fighter aircraft, no weapons are carried externally on the Raptor, making it harder to detect on radar screens.
