The medals for the Paralympic Games arrived in the host city of Beijing on Monday.
Organizers say they've put the 3,000 gold, silver and bronze medals in a secure place.
Each medal features a jade inlay, making it unique in Paralympic history. The medal's material is sourced from Australia and Chile, while the jade comes from China.
