The relay in Guang'an lasted for more than one and a half hours. 189 torch bearers carried the flame along the 7.3-kilometer route, which ended at the city's exhibition center.

The last torch bearer, Wang Jianjun, secretary of the CPC Guang'an Committee, lit the cauldron.

Sichuan is the last province to see the Olympic flame before it heads to Beijing for Friday's opening ceremony. The region was originally scheduled to host the relay in June. But after the May 12th earthquake, BOCOG adjusted the route and postponed the Sichuan leg until August the 3rd to the 5th. The Olympic torch will also visit the cities of Leshan and Chengdu before heading to the capital.
