But at the news conference, Clegg refuted the idea. The Great Britain cycling team, however,is the strongest ever British squad for Beijing Olympics.London will host the 30th Olympic Summer Games in 2012.The British team hopes not only make achievements in the sports but something else.
Simon Clegg, Chef de Mission of the British delegation, said, "Our Chinese colleagues are four years further down the road than we are, they are about to deliver the games, there is no dress rehearsal for delivering a successful games, apart from the previous games. So in some respects my colleagues from London are here trying to take as much information as possible so that we can learn from the thing that happens well here and maybe have the opportunity to make improvement at the next time round. It is really important that the Olympic movement evolves, this is not about revolution, this is about evolution."
