The Chairman of the People First Party in Taiwan, James Soong, has arrived in Beijing with his delegation for the opening ceremony of the Olympics. Soong received a warm welcome on Wednesday from the director of the Taiwan Work Office of the CPC Central Committee, Wang Yi.

The Chairman of the People First Party in Taiwan, James Soong, has arrived in Beijing with his delegation for the opening ceremony of the Olympics. Soong received a warm welcome on Wednesday from the director of the Taiwan Work Office of the CPC Central Committee, Wang Yi.


James Soong said, "I hope athletes from across the Straits could win golds as many as possible. I also hope they will carry out our common wish of world peace through the competitions."
