At the women's team table tennis final, the Chinese girls beat the Singaporeans 3-nil and won the gold medal, putting Singapore in second place. It's the first-ever medal in Singapore's Olympic history. Without the efforts of their Chinese coach Liu Guodong, none of this would have been possible.

Liu Guodong, coach of Singapore table tennis team, said "Singapore's table tennis team is also the winner today. Because the Chinese team is so outstanding. So our Singaporean team is the second most-outstanding here."
