Chinese President Hu Jintao joins some disabled people who are learning to make handicrafts in Shichahai community home for the disabled in Beijing. [Xinhua]

Hu Jintao also visited the swimmers. Swimming is one of China's strongest Paralympic events. The president encouraged athletes to train hard and realize their dreams.

After the visit, President Hu Jintao then went to Xicheng district to inspect the community service for disabled people. He joined a group making dumplings.

Hu Jintao finally toured a training center for the disabled people making handicrafts.
