Overseas Chinese around the world have been cheering the success of the Shenzhou 7 mission. They're taking pride in their motherland's rapidly advancing space technology and its overall progress.
Wu Yaozhou, Chairmanof Chinese Association of Brazil said "This is the best gift for the 59th anniversary of the foundation of People's Republic of China.We are very proud of the development of China's space technology."
One Chinese-American said "The flourished motherland creates better conditions for the overseas Chinese working abroad."
One Chinese-Indonesian said "The three astronauts are very important.They held together to complete the task, so the overseas Chinese around the world should also live in solidarity."
Chen Bingding, Chairman of Canada Federation of Overseas Chinese said "The Chinese astronaut's space walk means that China's space technology level has caught up with the level of other advanced countries in space technology. It's also a representation of China's over all national power."
