Obama, McCain urge new bailout plan

US presidential candidate Barack Obama is urging lawmakers to get back to the negotiating table to work on a bailout plan.

Obama said he'll talk to leaders and members of Congress to offer his ideas for an improved deal, and to urge them to act without delay to pass a rescue plan.

Obama's election rival John McCain has also urged lawmakers to work out a deal that a majority in the House of Representatives can support.
