Lewis Hamilton said, "I am definitely in a better position this year. As I said, just because of the experiences I've had, the car is better and really a lot of the decisive moments and all the changes in life -- life-changing experiences I had last year I think really helped prepare me for what is coming up this year. So I feel definitely more confident, more relaxed, but even more determined."
Massa unveils new Ferrari road car
Early on Wednesday, Ferrari driver Felipe Massa unveiled the new 430 Ferrari Scuderia, developed by former world champion Michael Schumacher, in Sao Paulo's International Automobile Trade Show. Massa is seven points behind Hamilton.
He's been on pole in Brazil for the past two seasons, winning in 2006 and finishing second last year.
If the 26-year-old Brazilian manages to win the title this year, he would become Brazil's first champion since Ayrton Senna's 1991 victory.
