The awards for classic pop stars went to mainland singer Zhu Zheqin and musician He Xuntian, in recognition of their musical efforts as well as their enduring popularity.

Jay Chou was named the Outstanding pop music fashion figure from Asia. He sang his latest song "Time Machine", which became the theme song for the event.

The China Fashion Awards are a large scale event honoring excellence in entertainment. This year's title "China Fashion Carnival" highlighted the three decades from which the honourees were chosen.
