He may not have quite the profile of Chinese star Yao Ming, but Kobe Bryant is considered as one of the most popular NBA players in China. The man dubbed "Little Flying Knight" by his Chinese fanse hlped the US basketball team to win gold at the Beijing Olympics last August.In an effort to increase his profile further, Bryant recently launched his Chinese website and blog in Los Angeles. The LA Lakers' guard is very conscious of his large fanbase amongst the world's biggest population.

Kobe Bryant, player of LA Lakers,said, "The amount of respect and the amount of love that I have for them continues to grow year after year. The passion they have for the game of basketball is remarkable, and for me to have an opportunity to go over there in China, show them so many things and teach some of the things that I have learned has been phenomenal. I think that with the addition of the website, they will have more opportunity to be able to see me on a daily basis and I will be able to reach out with them on a personal level and continue to try to teach them some of the values and some of the things I have learned from the game."
