Chinese authorities are stepping up measures to prevent an outbreak of swine flu.

The Foreign Affairs Ministry says no cases of swine flu have been reported among Chinese nationals in Mexico so far. The ministry is warning Chinese citizens who plan to visit Mexico to take preventative measures against the disease. China's National Tourism Administration is assessing the risks of tourism in Mexico.

Though very few Chinese tour groups visit Mexico, the administration has not yet decided whether to halt all tours to the country.
