Premier Wen marks Chinese Youth Day with university students

Wen Jiabao said, "It is impossible to separate the youth's destiny from a nation's destiny. A nation's hope rests on its youth, and there is no hope for the youth if there is no hope for the nation. So youngsters should combine their future with the nation's future development."

Wen Jiabao mentioned the difficulties that face college graduates who want to work for regions in need. He said they will need both a strong will and persistent practice to realize their dreams and serve the country. He also urged the the students to develop themselves fully, which will require morality and ability above and beyond their academic achievements.
