The Brazilian navy salvage crew recovered 4 more bodies of Air France Flight 447 passengers from the Atlantic Ocean on Tuesday, taking the total number of bodies recovered to 28. 200 others have yet to be found.
Soldiers and medical personnel in surgical gowns carried off the remains in body bags on the Fernando de Noronha archipelago.
They will be flown to the coastal city of Recife, where experts will try to identify them using DNA and photos.
Brazilian army officials say that identifying the bodies, studying their injuries and looking at where they were seated on the plane, could provide clues to cause of the May 31 disaster.
