On the sidelines of the annual SCO summit in Yekaterin-burg, President Hu Jintao has met separately with his Tajik, Kyrgyz and Pakistani counterparts.

During talks with Kyrgyz President, Kurmanbek Bakiyev, Hu Jintao said that fruitful achievements have been reached in economic, investment, transportation and agricultural cooperation between the two sides. He also called for further cooperation and exchanges to ride out the world financial crisis.
Bakiyev noted that his country is seeking cooperation with China on transportation, border trade and resources exploration. While meeting with Tajik President Emomali Rakhmon, both leaders discussed consolidation of their friendship, and the expansion of pragmatic cooperation.
