Iran's Press TV says the Russia-made Tupolev passenger plane was travelling from Tehran to the Armenian capital of Yerevan. It says the plane was completely destroyed and its wreckage was in flames.
So far, there has been no official information about the reason caused the accident. The crashed plane belongs to The Caspian Airlines -- a Russian-Iranian joint venture.
