13 people are facing trial in relation to an apartment building that collapsed last month in Shanghai killing one person.
Tuesday, the city's director of the Administration of Work Safety said 6 development company executives have been detained and charged with causing a major incident. 7 others are out on bail awaiting trial.
An investigation found the developer, construction company, supervisors and safety watchdog were all responsible for the collapse of a 13-story apartment building called the "Lotus Riverside", which was under construction in the Minhang District of Shanghai.
