Firefighters have managed to contain a blaze at a factory in Sydney. But they are still working to bring it under control. Authorities said around 30 local residents were evacuated from their homes.
Eighty fire fighters battled to contain the large fire at a storage facility in the west of the city. Smoke from the fire was visible up to 20 kilometers away.
Officials said hazardous materials like aerosols, plastics and fuels had been stored in the building. And these materials made the firefighting operations dangerous.
