US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has held talks in Kenya with Somali President Sheikh Sharif Ahmed.
Clinton pledged strong support for Somalia's government on Thursday and vowed to take action against neighboring Eritrea if it did not stop what the Somalian government calls "unacceptable" interference in the country.
Clinton said "terrorist elements" in Somalia pose a threat to Africa and beyond -- and she warned Eritrea to stop meddling in Somali affairs. Clinton said Washington had given 150 million dollars to Somalia over the past two years, and would provide additional funds to Africa.
