The German national team departed for their vital World Cup qualifier against Russia in Moscow.

With two games left in Group 4, Germany leads Russia by a single point. A victory on Saturday would give Germany automatic qualification to the World Cup finals but any other result would mean that Russia could still top the Group 4 table ahead of them.In the event of a Russian win or a draw, the group winner will be decided on next Wednesday, when Germany hosts Finland in Hamburg and Russia travels to Azerbaijan.
